THIS JUST IN: Yanks Win 4-3 On Jeter's 9th Inning Blast

Jeter's walk-off homer lifted the Yanks to a 4-3 win over the Red Sox after Jason Varitek's ninth-inning shot off Mariano Rivera had tied it up. Not happy about Mo's blown save, but we'll take it.

Carl Pavano had decent outing, going 6.1 innings while giving up 8 hits and 2 earned runs. Matsui homered again and picked up 3 hits.
