It'll be interesting to see what Damon looks like as a Yankee, as there's no way his signature Charles Manson look will fly in the Bronx. Expect to see a clean shaven Damon at the podium donning pinstripes and gladhanding the Yankee brass. It's amazing what a change in uniform can do for a player. All of a sudden I really really like Johnny Damon. I always cringed when he came to the plate because he was Yankee killer. Well, now he's a Yankee Centerfielder.
Talk about a Christmas present. A lineup that already houses Derek Jeter, A-Rod, Gary Sheffield, Hideki Matsui, Giambi and Jorge Posada finds Damon, among the premier leadoff hitters in baseball, under its Christmas tree.

I read about the Yanks getting a new player but I didn't see a pic of the guy they were getting but his name was familiar to me. Now after seeing your blog I remember why the name was familiar to me. The Reds were on an episode of Queer Eye For The Straight Guy (I love that show)and they did make overs on him and four other bigger players for the Reds.
