Mussina couldn't have been better in hurling the Yankees to a 4-2 win in front of 45,142 at Angel Stadium. The victory, fueled by rookie Robinson Cano's three-run double in the first off Bartolo Colon, gives the Yankees a 1-0 edge in the best-of-five ALDS.

Game 2 is tonight with Chien-Ming Wang facing John Lackey.
