As you can see, Bambino is checking out his new batting equipment. Now, beside working on his cannon, we can also build his batting technique. Hey, the kid will pitch, we all know this, but what if he ends up in the National League (God forbid).

Here's a look at one of the boys mos fav games. It's known as 'I steal your toy and you run after me and take it away'. It's the rage among the tots these days.
BTW, of late Mo Mo has been rockin the diapar-shoe ensemble. It's 100% at his request, and I can only surmise he finds it liberating and more fleet of foot. It's your world Bambino, we're just livin in it.

This is a pic of Tino drying in the sun. I don't start my NEW new job until Monday, so I'm home this week and, because he was due, I gave Tino a bath.
It was late afternoon and the sun was limited to the back corner of the patio, so I set-up a little sunning station for the Bingapant. Look at him, he loves it!

| Tino Makes A Break For It (finds 'it' not all cracked up to be) |

Mama and I were inside yesterday when we heard a faint whine come from the patio. Upon venturing outside to see what was what, we saw that Tino had escaped the friendly confines of the 119 in search of greener pastures. Once he saw what the outside world had to offer he decided to come home, and that's where the trouble started. If you look in the center of this pic you'll notice Tino's little head poking through the fence. I have no clue how he was able to get out because the hole in the fence wasn't large enough for him to get back in. Oh well, that's the long and the short of it. It reads pretty boring, but if you were present when it all went down, you'd appreciate what a dynamic situation it was. |

 It all starts tonight (10:05p EST). My beloved Yanks open up the 2006 season this evening in Oakland against the A's. I think we'll reclaim our place on top the baseball food chain and this will be a banner year for the Bronx baseball club. You know where I'll be tonight. Mama decided Bambino should stay up to see the first pitch. So, we grilling out and watching baseball tonight.
Simple pleasures.
