It doesn't matter that this pic is blurry, I had to post it. Tino was laying on his pillow last night when, all of a sudden, Mariano nudged him off and proceeded to lay face down on the pillow. He rested there for a spell then resumed his walking and playing.
Tino had a shocked and confused 'What just happened here?' look on his face.

The vid on the right hand side of this page was made posthumously after Big Pun's death on Feb 7, 2000. I remember so crytal clear the moment I heard he died. His sound is so unequivically NYC, espec the Bronx.
There's a coupla scenes that show clips of Pun, but the video was made as a tribute to him and contains several, mostly NYC hip hop peoples, singing along to his song 'It's So Hard'. This vid has tons of peoples in it: Fat Joe, Terror Squad, Nas, Mobb Deep, Busta, Puffy, Missy Elliott, L.L. Cool J, Noreaga, DJ Premier, Donnell Jones, Mack 10, Angie Martinez, Melle Mel, Lil' Kim, J-Lo, Funkmaster Flex, Raekwon, etc. There's jus waaaay too many too list. It's the joint.
It doesn't matter it's been 5 five years, there was never a sound like him before or since. I hear you every day. R.I.P Pun, Never Forget.

VATICAN CITY - Civilta Cattolica (Catholic Civilisation), the leading journal that reflects the official view of the Vatican said on Thursday that professional boxing and the business that surrounds it is intrinsically immoral.
The paper said professional boxing was based on violence and run by business interests that sees the boxer not as an athlete but as a money machine.
"From a moral point of view the judgment of boxing can only be gravely and absolutely negative," the journal said in an article called "The Immorality of Professional Boxing."
The journal of the Italian Jesuit order said boxing goes against "natural and divine" principles because it aims to inflict wounds that sometimes can lead to death.
It cited the case of boxer Levander Johnson, 35, who died last month in the United States, five days after suffering injuries in a lightweight title fight with Jesus Chavez.
Apart from what the journal called boxing's violent nature, Civilta Cattolica condemned it because of the way it is run and promoted.
"In reality, professional boxing is manipulated by powerful economic groups, which are often ruthless and cruel, and for whom the boxer is not a man but only a machine to make money," the journal said.
Articles in Civilta Cattolica are approved in advance by the Vatican's Secretariat of State, the most influential department in the Holy See.

Yes, one of my best friends made it through the South Asian earthquake unscathed. Does this provide any perspective? No.
Why? Because serial F(expletive) AH(expletive) choke artist Mike Mussina screwed the pooch once again when it mattered. I'm sick and tired of watching this overrated AH(expletive) beat up on the D-Rays and Tigers only to blow it when the games are important. I am physically sick over this. Another wasted season and another (now 5) year without a World Series, much less a F(expletive) pennant!!
I don't care to hear it from any of you (haters or supporters), so keep it to yourself and leave me the hell alone for a couple days.

A six-hour ride in a cramped metal tube to Southern California in the wee hours of the morning never felt so good for the Yankees.
After staying alive with a 3-2 victory over the Angels in Game 4 of the ALDS last night at Yankee Stadium that was enjoyed by 56,226, the Yankees crawled onto a jet bound for Anaheim, where they and the Angels will play a deciding Game 5 tonight. |

This Saturday Corrales and Castillo do it again. Their last fight, in May 2005, was the fight of the year and, hands down, the greatest lightweight fight I've ever seen. It was a brutal war that saw Corrales come back from two 10th round knockdowns to get up and TKO Castillo later the same round. It was mos def boxing from the TFC.
